I just got a letter from the government, apparently they want to give me a $150 endowment on behalf of something called the Vancouver Foundation (psh more like the RAINBOW COALITION). The only stumbling block is they want me to open a Registered Disability Savings Plan first and who knows how much paperwork that would entail. One sheet? Two sheets? I already get all the money I need, I'm not anxious to go jumping through (metaphorical) hoops for a lousy $150. They also say I could be eligible for up to $1525 in additional grants and bonds within the first year, but again that sounds suspiciously like you may already be a winner to me. Yeah, the more I think about this, the more sure I get I'm never going to do it. |
