I read all the nutrition labels in the supermarket but I'm no food expert. If you know another build that can put up numbers like these, by all means share it.
Meal 1: Beef Ravioli (420 calories, 20g protein, $1)
Meal 2: Tuna Fish (120 calories, 30g protein, $1)
Meal 3: Beef Ravioli
Meal 4: Tuna Fish
Meal 5: Beef Ravioli
Totals: 1500/120g/$5
And don't say "20 eggs" because I tried that already and it did not go well.
Why not two eggs, in place of one of those cans? I don't mean that as a nutritional suggestion--rather, I'm asking how you can prefer a second or third can of the same old thing when a nice alternative is available! Also what about milk?
If grams-protein-per-calorie is your metric, why not throw in some soy? Soy nuts beat the heck out of your ravioli in that regard, and taste only moderately less pleasant than peanuts do. You like peanuts right??? http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/legumes-and-legume-products/4378/2 |
