Why does Shepherd always have to shuck and jive when he talks? by Jerry Whorebach 04/14/2011, 11:07am PDT
That defiant monologue he delivers to the holographic crustacean(?) near the beginning of your video is a perfect example. You'd expect a normal person to be standing bolt upright, fists quivering with adrenaline, every muscle a knot of human stoicism - instead, Shepherd's waving his arms and bouncing around on the balls of his feet like he's about to challenge the space monster to a dance-off. Is it just the result of re-using some standard conversation animation, or did someone actually script that?
