I've only read 4 of his books, Firestarter, Dead Zone, Carrie and Misery. All 4 were actually pretty damn good (I like Firestarter best for whatever reason). Of the four, Carrie is the most different from the movie version, the others are pretty close. I'd recommend at least Misery, as it feels like King is writing about his own personal nightmare with it. |
