| It is now the first game everyone mentions in a thread about "good indie games". It's won tons of awards and is the first game in Humble Bundle's new weekly bundle. It's a good, if obvious, choice. The studio just announced their next game which also looks it'll be pretty.
Bonus, games journalism at its finest at the Escapist. The entire article is drivel but this section stands out. That scene where Red is speeding along on his motorbike in particular. Red's aesthetic largely relies on that furry-collared bomber jacket, and his sword is designed in such a way that it would be utterly unwieldy were it subject to the physical rules of the real world. Despite this, he wields it with ease. All this dumbass had to do was watch a trailer and write about it. How do you fuck that up? |
