i wake up slumped in front of the computer at 1am and there is a window open with a year old caltrops post next to a window playing Voltron defender of the universe Netflix and i'm not sure why I would be interested in these things individually, somewhat concerned with my need to experience them both at the same time.
360 hard drives use 7-8 gigs for backwards compatibility

The punk rock heroes at Bethesda (or Zenimax Media or whoever the fuck is responsible for anarchizing the SKUs) stupidly opted to put the limited edition cardboard slipcover outside the plastic shrinkwrap. Now my copy has a gigantic "CLEARANCE $7.48 WAS $59.97" sticker on it that's never, ever coming off. The game itself is gonna have to be pretty good to make up for that one in my eyes.
Also, as far as I can tell the only installation option on 360 is a twenty-two gigabyte full install, which is approximately eight gigabytes more than you can access on a blank twenty gigabye Xbox hard drive (I think the rest is used for caching?). Given that the DVD drive on my launch unit sounds like a jet engine and handles discs with all the care of a cuisinart, this might be the first console game I've bought that required a hardware upgrade since 32X Doom. |
