As I pointed out in an article here, Why are light switches so hard to use? there are people who would complain a single button device was too much.

I think they even did something like that in a cartoon. It might have been in the New Yorker and before people criticize me, I didn't say it was in the New Yorker, that's just where I think I saw it, with a caption something like the guy saying, "Let's hear them complain this is too complicated."



But they probably will, anyway.
