So I figured since I said "two three-legged dogs and two of their names" some wit would show he's a half-wit by asking what was the other legs' name.
The joke came from "Mary Poppins" where someone says, "I once knew a guy with a wooden leg named Smith," to which the usual response was, "and what was the other leg's name?"
I knew the name of the pig, (Chris P. Bacon) and the name of the three-legged dog the family of my friend Gary owned, which was Tripod, but I didn't know off-hand what the name of the 3-legged dog in the story about people getting prosthetics for pets with missing legs. |
