Not a spoiler for The Limey because it wasn't.by Jerry Whorebach 09/14/2014, 7:22pm PDT

just how fucking poorly they end up being stated. The critiques suck and usually break down into some ridiculous bargaining. I wish there was some direct correlation between your girlfriend blowing up and a bad game, but there just isn't. The Darkness was still more enjoyable than whatever hypothetical progressive alternatives are awaiting us. Making the violence female on female, making women strict non-combatants, or having a woman fail to save her boyfriend won't help. I'd personally rather CD Projekt do whatever they want with Cyberpunk 2077 and if it ends up with me catching cyber herpes and needing to cut the head off the technoslut who gave it to me to get cured, then fuck it. It'll still be better than Bioshock Infinite.
This is where you and I differ! I have absolutely no interest in whatever CD Projekt is working on, and I only played The Darkness because you literally said it was a MUST PLAY and I pretty much do everything you tell me. I'm starting to realize you are way more tolerant of bad games and bad stories and African Americans than I would ever want to be.

Just look at this shit. Is there a single person doing this well? Oh boy we're gonna get inclusivity and brighter colors in equally shitty games. I can't wait until we get Kerrigan covered up, that'll make Heroes of the Storm not blow. I honestly could almost be fucking sold on this whole thing, but all the advocates suck and all the games suck, so what's the point? I guess maybe Mirror's Edge 2 will finally prove to everyone that a gender swapped cast really does make a generic story better.
I think it's awesome that this guy - or possibly girl, but seeing as they're writing for RPS it's almost certainly a guy - picked the one design issue he was most passionate about (and by extension, his readers must be passionate about too - else why in God's name would they be reading his blog over all the other millions and millions of blogs out there with legitimate concerns about StarCraft?) and tried his embarrassing best to take Blizzard's mouthpiece to the mat on it. And the part in the first Mirror's Edge where I was an acrobatic Asian lady in tiny anatomically correct shoes ditching rent-a-cops in a nice clean mall with my sweet parkour and non-lethal but still extremely humiliating Steven Seagal jointlocks like so much Jubilee from the X-Men almost justified having to play all the way through fucking Mirror's Edge. If they can fix everything about the sequel EXCEPT that part and the part where I sang the theme song in the shower afterwards and they don't add any black people I'm sold.

Though I understand that Eli's being a man overwrites him being one of the two main characters of African American heritage(and the only amputee) for some fucking reason I don't understand at all actually.
Yeah it's a crazy double standard, I would totally hit a black man (possibly just for being black and smaller than I am) but I would never hit a chick unless I REALLY REALLY had to to get my point across, and if I'm ever in charge of loading up some lifeboats you better hope you don't have a dick and a full-grown body to swing it from. (I would probably give an amputee special consideration in either situation, though more for practical reasons than emotional ones.) (holy shit 2006)

Though I also liked the option to kill yourself instead of killing Paulie.
This is from your last post but I just now remembered getting to that part and thinking "this is exactly like the ending of The Limey except completely retarded."
