Oh it had plot holes by fabio 09/19/2014, 10:41am PDT Three biggest that stuck out to me: Why, the instant the aliens learned that humans were close and had even the slightest chance of threatening the alpha, didn't the beta commit suicide (or willingly get killed by the other aliens) to reset the day and relocate or beef up defenses or make it otherwise impossible for the plan to work? The aliens had taken back the reset ability by that point and the beta just chased them around. Why did the aliens even send the beta into battles at all if spilling their blood onto humans fucked them over so much? Why not keep it far back behind the lines and kill it once you've learned about that day's battle. The first time you could chalk up to not knowing about the blood transfer, but the second time at the beach was all on them. Apparently it was easy as hell to steal a transport the night before the invasion and fly wherever they wanted on the continent. Why did they bother spending so much time bothering with the invasion and making it off the beach? Even if they won and stopped the aliens, all those soldiers (not to mention London) would be dead. My idea for a better ending would be cutting to space after the alpha's death and showing the aliens first arriving to begin the invasion. The alpha was just another failsafe and killing it restarted the entire invasion. But I like that manga ending better.
