Once a month I go onto the websites of the credit cards I have that I have charged something, and I authorize them to make an electronic withdrawal of an amount I indicate from my checking account. No cash is used, no debit card is used, an electronic draft is made which does not issue a physical check.
With the exception of my Target Red card and Amazon store card I pay all of the VISA and MasterCard cards that I use with electronic debits from a checking account. For Target Red I do mail them a check, and for Amazon store card I pay them with an electronic debit or by mailing a check, depending on how I feel that month.
