| There is an inevitable in the development of every single productivity app where the programmers have finished, but they can't stop fucking with it.
I identify this point by when they change the Ctrl-V shortcut from "paste" to "paste with formatting." Happened with various forms of Microsoft Office, Open Office and now Google Docs. It's funny to see in the case of Google Docs because there is no way to set a default. I *never* want to paste into a fucking spreadsheet with formatting. Ever. Google Docs officially reached this point sometime in the last two weeks. I cannot start using Ctrl-Shift-V, which is the dumb fuck development team's solution. They have no idea how awkward it is to hit three keys instead of two, and then THOSE three keys? Only someone that doesn't actually use the product would choose that combo. Fuck Google forever, and fuck the point that all productivity apps reach where they officially become overdesigned and useless. ICJ |
