| I was doing some research on whether Age of Wonders 3 was worth my money, and I came across a thread where someone was complaining that the squire level AI cheats because it's fielding huge stacks of Tier-4 units one after another while he can barely create any moderately strong stacks. A dev asked him to upload a save file to show the bug in action. He did and the dev said after using a cheat to reveal the map, it turned out both AI opponents had twice the number of cities he did, which was not surprising since the game was in triple-digit turns. The thread then degenerated into the OP whining about why the devs didn't make turtling a viable strategy in this turn-based game.
Someone as stupid as fortinbras, I can understand. But how the hell did you time out in this game? Are you not breaking open crates and picking up the squares with a big "T" on them? Are you cautiously picking off the no-challenge enemies at a distance instead of dashing into them at full speed and ruining their shit with your melee attacks?
