Hugo for DOS ported to JavaScript by Ice Cream Jonsey 04/02/2015, 12:14pm PDT
I make games in a language called Hugo. For the most part, I make graphical text adventures, but I've made a couple that were text only.

Friend of the website Juhana got the DOS interpreter going and put together a page with a few text-only Hugo games. You can check the games out here.

For technical information, why not read this blog post by Juhana?

I wrote two of the games listed. Pantomime is a science fiction game about solving a mystery in a world where cloning has gone mainstream. It's about a 4 hour game.

Retro-Nemesis is a very silly little thing that takes maybe 15 minutes to play, which was written for the Get Lamp documentary.

Let me know what you think of any of the Hugo games. I hope you enjoy them!
