I'm frying up breakfast on my video card, anyone want some? by laudablepuss 06/07/2015, 10:21am PDT After 12 minutes my computer powered off. 18 more and it powered off again. The system wasn't very hot, but I noticed that the video card was as hot as anything I've ever accidentally touched on the stove. How hot before stuff spontaneously de-solders itself? Added new case fans and way reduced the video settings and it seems good now. Yes, my hardware is TDarcos level shitty. 512 MB is plenty of video ram right :( :( :( :(
