salty - mad about being bad by Entropy Stew 11/03/2015, 4:12pm PST
This supposedly originates from Philadelphia inner city slang, which itself might originate from old 1930s phrase "jump salty". Used heavily by the fighting game community for the past decade, it spread to video games in general, especially via Twitch.tv's PJSalt emote.
