Ep 4: Home Again by fabio 02/08/2016, 11:18pm PST
A passable monster of the week episode with an aftertaste of the early seasons 1-2 run.

It is unfortunately interlaced with a side plot on Scully in a hospital, much like the I Want to Believe movie. Because everyone liked that movie, right? The title is referencing the infamous "Home" episode (the inbred Hills Have Eyes family one). According to the writer (Darin Morgan's less talented brother), this was because Home was the original "mother" episode and tonight's concluded Scully's. Someone must really fucking think everyone cares about their son, William, because he's a constant focus in this new run. Nobody even cares about the UFO mythology anymore, let alone a mythology aspect that everyone hated to begin with.

What the fuck ever. Okayish monster of the week, weak side plot. The bloody way the monster dispatches victims is cool, but it wouldn't be a modern story if you didn't make the woman victim the only one to get a good punch in, almost get away, and be killed off screen with no mutilated body after.
