| An old man in a raincoat surfs the internet furtively, using what looks like Netscape 4.0 with a CRT monitor. He quickly clicks something as you approach.
The dim, flickering florescent overhead lights illuminate the puke green corridors. You are surrounded by ceiling high shelves of books. So many books, all wrapped in those little plastic covers... usually suspciously sticky, often yellow with age. Suddenly you hear labored breathing and the squeak of a wheelchair. The walls seem to be closing in! You spin around and start running back the way you came. Somewhere in the stacks you make a wrong turn and find yourself at a dead end with a wall of ancient computer books in front of you. You look up, just in time to get whacked in the face by "Windows NT for Power Users," a weighty tome as thick as a New York City phone book. "Hello. My name is Paul Robinson," you hear as you are laying on the ground. "And I need help reattaching my colostomy bag." |
