I was a fan of Veronica Mars, but iZombie was something that should have been canned at the pitch phase. Even more painful than the premise is every single character talking in the same voice of pseudo witty post modernism that would embarrass Joss Whedon.
Finally started Breaking Bad again after a two year hiatus. Everyone says if you stop watching, it's going to be around the second half of season 2, and that's exactly where I left off. I'm realizing the show is only good when Walt & Jessie are actively in a drug scheme. After selling the big blue batch to chicken guy, it was half a dozen episodes of his apartment manager girlfriend. She's gone, but into season 3 it's now all about Walt & Skyler's separation and affair. The only drug plot was the long drawn out quirky hitmen mysery duo. What is this, Firefly? Twin Peaks could have made something of that, but here it just feels out of place and trying too hard to stall until the status quo is reset to the beginning of season 2.
Went back and started watching from the beginning, being reminded how much better season 1 was.
