So companies and individuals that need to self-promote, like comedians. I imagine it's convenient if you want to follow any of that shit. I don't use Twitter, so enh.
Emergency responders have also been monitoring it for certain events (wildfires, natural disasters, etc) to try and get more information that isn't being called in.
There's a couple of other niche uses that revolve around monitoring chatter. As some sort of communication platform for the masses, it's basically worthless unless you're deeply invested in what people are having for lunch. |
