| I'm picturing a mid-budget '80s-style comedy, loosely based on the actual Tetris story. It's got everything a screenwriter could want: corrupt Soviet authorities, fast-talking American capitalists, an iron-fisted Japanese toy company, and poor, oversexed Alexey Pajitnov caught right in the middle of it all. Hey, it could be a love story! When did Pajitnov meet his wife? Or husband, oh man wouldn't it be great if it was a husband. Tetris could be a metaphor for something, like I assume the Magnolia was in Magnolia (didn't see it)? Maybe there's some kind of double-cross involving the Yakuza or the KGB, and Alexey Pajitnov and Shigeru Miyamoto have to Tango & Cash it for their lives! I'm seeing Anton Yelchin as Pajitnov, and Jackie Chan, Jr. as Miyamoto. I have literally never been more excited about a project. I need to download that Tom Hanks typewriter app before I forget all of this. | ||||
