I will never work for a company with which you are involved. And that's your loss.
I will encourage the same of my entire network, which is substantial.
ahahahahaha. The woman whose professional career amounts to quickly having a mental breakdown and abandoning everything she ever starts working on and blaming it on penis conspiracy, who networks with useless bipolars and scam artists who do the same.
Although the interview guy is an asshole and it's best to not bother with bosses who set up hoops and play mind games before the very first interview (I'm sorry, what is your brand new fly by night company again?). There's no way they would stop with that kind of bullshit after hiring you. Can you imagine working under someone like that? You're setting yourself up to take orders from Fussbett's old bosses.
I once got an email back from an online application saying to give them a call to set up an interview. There was no phone number in the email. I looked up the company, called their contact info, and set up the interview. The very first thing they mentioned in the interview was that I "passed the first test" by "taking the initiative" to look up the number on my own and that anyone who emailed them back asking for the number was instantly disqualified. They sounded very proud of their clever ploy. That should have been my first and second clue to get up and walk out.
Pay was brought up. They paid on a per project basis. I pretended to listen as I did the math and realized that on average, the time each project usually takes meant I would be making minimum wage or less, in a field that usually paid $25-$50/hour.
That was when I did get up and walk out. |
