I still remember renting Ghosts 'n Goblins from the supermarket when I was six because it had muppets on the box. I don't think I finished the first level, but I still understood it was amazing. I also remember renting the first Zelda from the same place and being so disappointed I never played another one. Maybe I would've liked it better if I read the manual? Though based on my knowledge of what all the words in that last sentence mean, I'm guessing not.
Also ranked too low: Kirby's Adventure, arguably the best baby game of all time. Kirby's Adventure is what Super Mario Bros 3 would've been if they'd made it a sequel to Super Mario Bros 2 instead of Super Mario Bros 1, only they still made it exactly as much better than Super Mario Bros 2 as the real Super Mario Bros 3. How it's not at least in the top ten, when it has the best and pinkest graphics and lowest difficulty of practically any game on that list, is a mystery worthy of the Sherlock Holmes of guys who are so afraid of getting called faggots by me that they end up bringing it on themselves.
