Shadowrun version of Hearthstone. That describes most of it.
It involves a little more planning since your table is divided into agent (minion) rows and effect card rows, and your minions automatically attack the opposing card in front of them.
So far I like it more than Hearthstone.
+ Doesn't take place in WoW universe
+ Campaigns set up to include mission briefings, plus a time limit where you have to complete the overall campaign goal in a certain number of games.
- The first turn mechanic is less balanced than Hearthstone. If you go first, you simply don't draw a card your opening turn. This gives the first player a much bigger advantage than Hearthstone's coin card.
- Obviously cannot match a Blizzard game for sheer production values.
I'd highly recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in Magic type games and Shadowrun. |
