I was having a conversation with a friend about why I hated Hillary. by blackwater 10/11/2016, 10:30am PDT What I hate about Hillary is that she preaches on and on about social justice and equality, while reaping the rewards of being well-connected and a woman. If she were a man, or her last name were not Clinton, she would not even be in the running. She's a weak public speaker without the charisma or public presence of Bernie or Trump. And she and her husband are pretty much the archetypes of professional politicians trading favors and money for influence. Even up to this day, they run a charitable foundation that takes money from lots of different countries and individuals. Does giving money to the Clintons' private foundation grant you access to the Secretary of State or future President? Oh, heavens, no, of course not, these are all separate things-- except they're run by the same people with the same goals. It's been the same old story with her and Bill since the 1990s. The American public doesn't remember Watergate or the Chinese donations scandal, but it was the same old shit. The stench of desperation coming from her campaign reflects the realization by a professional politician that this is probably her last shot at the big prize. I don't smell the same desperation around the Trump campaign even though his chances of winning are much worse. I also really dislike how she tries to make certain topics like immigration or gun control off limits. Apparently, you can't even talk about these, without being labelled a racist. I don't have any illusions that Trump is somehow more virtuous, but I do think he's less hypocritical.
