I got my gal an iPad a few years ago. She loved it, but Apple stopped allowing the thing to get the latest OSs, so nothing works on it any more. I am looking for something I can get five years of updates out of. It will be used for Netflix, Nook, Kindle and I assume staring at my adoring face when I put it as the background and every icon. So I'm going to need flattering pixels. I haven't kept up on this at all, anyone got something they've used and would back / back over?
