| This is a copy of a posting from Jolt Country, where, because I mentioned I re-recorded an audio version of the article about Chess, did I ever read the article about Asperger syndrome (alluding to the common claim that I have Asperger syndrome, or autism, or any number of diseases starting with "A". I notice the one nobody ever accuses me of having which I do have, is arthritis.) So I decided to be snarky and I did an audio recording of the article on Wikipedia on Asperger syndrome. So then one of the users there implied - as so many cretinous reprobates here have out-and-out claimed - that I have Asperger syndrome. Here is my reply. But one thing I'm going to do. I'm going to start discussing some of the subjects I have interest in, including shit!
[With respect to me having Asperger Syndrome:] Too many contra-indications are present. For one, I have a vast interest in a lot of subjects. One of the important points of Asperger syndrome is a restricted interest in things, typically having narrowly tailored interest in one or a very small number of subjects. I'm interested in almost everything. The fact remains that diagnosing Asperger syndrome correctly requires specialized knowledge and education and familiarity with the subject through personal interviews and some knowledge of the subject's childhhood, And the characteristics mentioned occurring in childhood of people who have AS were not present in mine. I got interested in law and specifically copyright law when I was twelve. I was considering becoming an architect because I was interested in building things. Then I discovered computers and realized you could do so much more. And one of the big disqualifiers whas that I am a huge reader (no cracks here!) of fiction. I read lots of fiction when I was a kid, Science fiction, too, especially. And if I don't have much interest in fiction - which is an important reqirement of people with AS since the general conditions that begin in childhood continue for the rest of the person's life - why did I write two books of fiction - both of which are available to people here if they want to download and read them - that together exceed 1,000 pages? You and every one of the cretinous reprobates (CRs) on Caltrops are making the same mistakes. On the basis of a misunderstanding and lack of knowledge of the subject, lack of experience in psychiatry or analysis of human psychological characteristics, and compounding this with a complete ignorance of my own history and background, you and all the others blithely proceed to declare me to be inflicted with a medical condition for which you are both ignorant of, and unqualified to judge. I'll say the same thing I've said to the CRs on Caltrops: if you have actual objective evidence for your claim that is valid, present it. Otherwise, quit blowing smoke out your ass and stop claiming something you have no evidence to prove. I do not have Asperger syndrome nor autism because I don't fit the symptoms and none of you has provided any evidence to argue otherwise. It's the same reason I do not believe in God: there is no evidence to prove it. And in both cases the rules of logic demand the same thing: a positive claim (that I have Asperger syndrome and/or autism; that there is a god or there are gods) requires positive evidence, and claims made without evidence may be dismissed without evidence. Since no one who has ever accused me of possessing either Asperger syndrome or autism has presented any objective evidence (or even educated opinion by a qualified practitioner in the subject) - despite my requesting such evidence on more than one occasion - I reject such claims that I have the condition due to lack of any evidence at all from those making the claim. Cut the shit comments about "this is denial" or other garbage which you use as deflection to attempt to blow smoke to hide your known ignorance. Show me evidence, objective proof which is verifiable and not your worthless opinion. I am sick of people who are too stupid to know they don't know what the fuck they are doing making claims they have no business doing so, based on no evidence. Show me objective evidence.
