| It's fun to go through each modern Civ sequel once just to see the art and whatnots, but the series hasn't aged well. Y
You still have spearmen fending off WW2 infantry, wooden boats sinking aircraft carriers. Also towns can fire catapults and have ceramite armor. Units don't stack, so you have a conga line feeding into the enemy's ranged meatgrinders. End result is absolute neutering of any and all military action ever. The other civ leaders are insane assholes (offering one resource in trade for three resources, lump gold, gold per turn, open borders). Just dump all your shit towards science and tech up past those faggots and cruise from turn 15 to turn 450 with zero opposition. Fake and gay. |
