I don't personally agree with Trump's policies towards immigration. But I do think that you can be against high levels of immigration without being a fascist. People seem to have forgotten that fascism was actually a political philosophy with actual doctrines, writings, and proponents, not just a label for people you don't like or agree with.

Trump's message is very simple: that the American lower middle class is getting screwed by undocumented immigrants brought in from Mexico and by NAFTA and other trade agreements allowing companies to offshore most manufacturing to low-wage countries. Facilitated by a "crooked" elite of people like Hillary and treaties like the TPP. It's a very simple and self-consistent message and it doesn't rely on demonizing Mexicans, homosexuals, or Jews. You have to be willfully deaf not to hear the message, which apparently a lot of the left is right now.

He made like one comment about how some of the immigrants from Mexico were criminals, which the press picked up and endlessly looped. But even in that same comment he says that there are a lot of good people who came over from Mexico as well. His campaign wasn't about demonizing people from Mexico or Jews. It was about demonizing the rich and well-connected who have benefitted from globalization while most of the country got poorer. In that sense, Trump and Bernie Sanders were actually pretty similar. And in both cases, the press has put an insane amount of spin on all coverage of those politicians.

I don't know much about Bannon. He seems like Rush Limbaugh for the 4chan generation. I'm not sure I care to read any more about him. I guess we'll see.

Also, and I've commented on this before-- If anyone in the race was a fascist, it would certainly be Hillary. According to Benito Mussolini, fascism is the merger of corporate and state power. Sounds like the "revolving door" her administration would have had with Google (and Eric Schmidt's public advocacy of her campaign). Sounds like her shady quasi-private foundation that took donations from Saudi Arabia while she was Secretary of State (purely to advance women's rights, I'm SURE.) Sounds like restricting gun rights, and starting more wars in the middle east.

I'm also quite curious about what is going on with Wikileaks now... I heard a rumor that a lot of those guys are now dead, but I don't have time to research it now.
