| System Shock 2
Good effort. Bad result. If it wasn't for misinformed people calling this an unsung classic, I would've stopped whining about it years ago. I bet if Ken had another chance to make System Shock 2, he would really nail it. BioShock He did, and he did! I liked this one a lot. I don't even care that Ken stole the entire premise from an episode of Batman: The Animated Series. If anything, knowing Ken secretly has the mind of a child only makes him MORE relatable. BioShock Infinite I bought this one, though I haven't played it yet. I was sold on it the minute I saw how much bigger Ken made the tits on the little girls. I didn't even know you could do that in this society! Maybe in France. Based on impressions I've read here, I'm expecting something on the level of Doom 3. If BioShock Infinite is more fun than Doom 3, and they didn't let the programmers read the audio logs like they did in Doom 3, I will be over the fucking moon. Lego Marvel Super Heroes I was mistaken before - this wasn't Ken's game of the year 2013, it was his first runner up. And I think I know why. The problem with Lego Marvel is all the female super heroes are flat as a brick. If you know anything about comics, you know what a fucking travesty that is. Traveller's Tales should've taken the initiative to put studs on the lady chests, so players could connect tit pieces of various shapes and sizes. Then the developers could do funny stuff with them in cutscenes, like knock them off with a sliding door and have a dog run away with them. Or cut them off with a sword, or one of those big battle axes. The possibilities are endless. Possibuildtitties. Whatever. Ken's Next Project I don't know anything about it, except that he's described the concept as "Narrative Legos." Obviously it's never going to amount to anything, but what a way to squander the remaining productive years of your life! Ken's like a cross between Chris Crawford and Peter Pan, if Peter Pan were a pervert. He's like a cross between Chris Crawford and Michael Jackson. God bless him.  |
