The Chicago Teenager Attack: I hate feeling this way. And someone else is upsetby Commander Tansin A. Darcos 02/21/2017, 11:06pm PST
I came across this Youtuber who speaks about the attack by four Chicago teenagers upon a mentally-challenged man, specifically because of his race. That they tortured him and there was nothing he could do about it. And this Youtuber's comments about these criminals echo my own feelings. "Fuck them," and "I wish upon them the worst." They are nothing but criminals who - I'll curb my anger here to add "after being convicted in a trial in a court of law" - deserve the maximum punishment possible for criminal assault, hate crimes, and anything else that can be imposed upon them.
And the worst thing about it is I hate having to feel like this.
I note also that it is very likely that had the race of these men, and the race of the victim been reversed, there would have been riots. But almost nobody on the other side has much concern over this incident other than (far too often) to consider the perpetrators to be victims for various irrelevant excuses.
Note that I have not mentioned the race of these perpetrators or the race of the victim because it's irrelevant. Four punks picked on a helpless man and tortured him because he was weak and because he was of a different color from them.
And I salute this man for coming out and admitting he, like so many others, feels as bad about it as I do.
