I just want to post this because it was a small example of the kind of incompetence you see in trying to give Microsoft money.
My subscription to whatever Microsoft calls their service to let you pay to play games online ended a month ago. My nephews and some of his friends were over so I went to renew it last night. I logged into my Xbox account and tried to give them sixty bucks so this stupid thing would be good for another year.
In doing so, I got the screen below. I realize now that I chopped my URL bar off, but what they told me was that to renew, I had to go to a completely different site (accounts.microsoft.com) and login again and then go through some menus to renew. Rather than just do it on the screen and site you go to when you choose to buy a Gold plan.
From the gaggle of autistics that developed Wikiquote, I present you with this line from Glengarry Glen Ross (film):
A man don't walk on the lot lest he wants to buy. They're sitting out there waiting to give you their money! Are you gonna take it? Are you man enough to take it? [Shelley glares.]
(Italics in the original, I bet there was a huge WP:FAGSTORM about it.)
Anyway, the Microsoft Gold Guy was like, no, I am not man enough to take it.
