So we all know that audit firms are all corrupt to the core - but what if I told you that KPMG actually falsified a report into South Africa's equivalent of the IRS to get non-corrupt individual fired to allow a corrupt businessman (Mr. Gupta ) to instill his cronies to prop up a corrupt regime?

This shit just went down in South Africa.

Now the Global CEO of KPMG is just "Oops, we made a mistake, we will refund you the cost of the report."

I couldn't make this shit up and because the CEO of KPMG has found some middle tier scapegoat the real people responsible get to walk away...
