"Imagine a ruin so beautiful, it must never have existed." by Garak Cunt-Killer 10/10/2017, 5:16pm PDT
When I read the first sentence of The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, I didn't need to imagine that ruin, because my Dreamcast was sitting right in front of me. I didn't need to read any of the remaining sentences of The Poisonwood Bible for the same reason. My book report was screenshots of Crazy Taxi captioned with Offspring lyrics. It got an S+.

That's the world we may have but probably didn't live in. It's a world we can still imagine, and it's why Caltrops has since 9/11 reserved all permutations of the Dreamcast tag exclusively for apolitical videogames-centric content. No Tumblr talk, no acknowledging reality as it is or definitively ever was. Dreamcast is the ruin in which we hide when life becomes too much to bear.

I ask that you observe this convention out of respect for the status quo, which I can tell by your appreciation for traditional gender roles you are a fan of.
