Minus Steam, which you will have to install. My own steam experience is that Rocket League runs like TDARCOS carrying a computer up a flight of stairs, so I don't know what to tell you. I'm running Arch, so there are probably many different things I *could* do to unfuck whatever, but I am dual booting so no to investing time in that. Plasma is running Intellij or whatever fine. Things compile. Great. Done.

I will blame the lack of network connectivity on Mint.

OK, so - I reformatted the drive, checked to make sure my work was on Github and installed Ubuntu. Ubuntu remains connected to the Internet wirelessly, so that's good. It freezes when running Selenium tests via an IDE just like Mint did, so that's bad. It won't run (as far as I can tell) Selenium tests through Jenkins without needing VNC configured. And I can't configure display 0 to work. Haven't given up yet, but I've never had to do that on Jenkins anywhere else (Windows 7, OSX and CentOS). Frustrating! I posted the question on Stack Exchange. "Do I really have to use VNC and Displays for Selenium on Jenkins on Ubuntu?" I registered an account for it. It got negative one votes INSTANTLY. Fuck you, Stack Exchange.

So, the fact that it freezes up in the IDE means that either the RAM is bad or the power supply is bad. I drew that conclusion because I can't think of anything else. Buying new RAM tomorrow. :/

Ubuntu does seem faster than Mint did, FWIW.
