Realms of the Haunting ***COMPLETE ENDING SPOILER*** by Mehphistopheles 11/12/2017, 1:15am PST To defeat the final boss you need the archangel Michael's sword which is in the possession of the lord of water for some unexplained reason. You need to travel to the lord of water's castle and provide him with a gift in exchange for the sword. There are 12 or more steps that include travelling to different places to acquire items, crafting and combining them to create other items, performing rituals, and the final reveal for all of this gathering and crafting is a water bong (yep) filled with some sort of plant that gods smoke to relax. You summon the lord of water who takes some groovy hits off of the bong and then gives you Michael's sword...Fast forward a bit and the final boss that the entire game has been directing you towards, a game that is centered heavily around hacking and shooting your way through, is defeated through a series of dialogue options! Not one bit of action to defeat the final boss in an action game. It ends with you waking up as a patient in an insane asylum where all of the characters from the game, both friend and foe, work. The entire game is this bad or worse, it is a sheer joy to experience.
