BIOS flash didn't fix it either. by Mischief Maker 01/10/2018, 7:31pm PST
(This is not a good time for me to be building a whole new machine.)

Other than this reset problem the computer seems to be working just fine, and looking at the guts I can't see any leaky capacitors or anything.

Is it possible that I'm just going to have this restart problem alone and can keep trucking for a few more months with my current setup so long as I'm diligent with making backups?

Or at least would it be easier to isolate the problem once the faulty part completely dies instead of replacing the whole damn machine?

It's on shutdown. I'm burning disks in anticipation of an HD wipe as we speak. NT by Mischief Maker 01/06/2018, 4:14pm PST NEW
