Have you actually played Hammerfight yet, ICJ?by Mischief Maker 01/27/2018, 8:49pm PST
Hammerfight alone is justification for owning a trackball mouse.
As for what I'm looking forward to:
Battletech, because that was the original gateway for me into the dorky world of tabletop RPG-dom, though I know I'm going to be disappointed by its generic-sounding orchestral soundtrack. Mechwarrior 2's sountrack just transported you to an alien world. I hope the final version of Battletech has city combat.
Distance because Nitronic Rush is still to this day one of the most visually amazing freeware games released on PC and I like its combination racing and platformer gameplay. The beta of Distance has some key gameplay improvements that make it impossible to return to NR, so I'm looking forward to the new game getting finished. Apparently the final game's adventure mode will have all-new levels.
Ys VIII despite the fact that NISA seems to have screwed the pooch royally with the PC port because the tsundere redhead in the daisy dukes is my waifu I love the series and I've heard nothing but good things from folks who played it on PS4.
No Man's Sky 1.5 update Because as much as I discourage anyone from wasting their money on this game, even on sale, I hold out a vain hope that the next update they're teasing will finally patch in somewhat lifelike animal behavior and multi-planet spanning faction battles like the E3 trailers and live presentations promised, instead of all the bullshit suzy homemaker interior decorating filler they've been implementing instead. Though my gut says what they're actually going to do is just implement multiplayer because for some dumb reason THAT was the broken promise the community focused on the most.
