It's a shame how badly they fucked the port, since this is absolutely the best one they've made. EVERYTHING is so streamlined to perfection that it really hurts how badly this is getting slammed. Every little quirk and addition that they put in for 7 (skill points, rush mode, material collection, character switching) has been refined in such a way that it even makes 7 look better since now I know they weren't just dicking around with gimmicks there.
I haven't had any crashes yet (I waited for the 5th patch), but I did still have to crank everything down and fiddle with the files until it could run properly.
Here's hoping they actually do get this fixed, but it's still an amazing game if you can get it to work. |
