Thanks a lot, I read it. I think your Wikipedia fu failed you that time, Commander. I don't know what you're talking about. I became agnostic around 1985. You think they had Wikipedia in 1985?
You appear to have stopped thinking about these issues at age 13. I started thinking about them as far back as 16. I have never stopped thinking about them. Which is what caused me to drop religion because I understood what it meant and how wrong it was. The difference between me and a religious person is I do not allow religion to usurp reality. When religion and reality come into conflict reality always wins.
Pro tip from a pro (ordained Catholic deacon) -- go back to Wikipedia and really study this shit. What is it that makes people think I read Wikipedia about some subject? I have not done so.
I have no interest in a religion that holds suffering, sacrifice and pain as its highest goal. My sister and I had a discussion once about who suffers more, Catholics or Jews, and we decided the Catholics suffer more, but Jews are better at marketing and promoting how much they suffer.
Were you a Catholic kid, Paul? I'm guessing you quit after Confirmation? Or during? My mother was Catholic, my father was Methodist. I got his church but I learned plenty of guilt and suffering from Ma.
