Two comments about the world by Commander Tansin A. Darcos 06/02/2018, 12:47pm PDT
Ernest Hemingway, in For Whom The Bell Tolls said two things. First, he said, "The world is a fine place..." The singing group, "The Marmalade," in Reflections of My Life,, sang that, "The world is a bad place, a terrible place to live." I deisagree with both thoughts. The world is neither a good nor a bad place. The world is what we make of it. But I do agree with Hemingway's second half of his statement, "...and worth fighting for."
