My Steam Library and Where It Came From by Fullofkittens 06/27/2018, 10:14am PDT Inspired by the new What Are You Playing Now? forum and out of a desire to give credit where it's due, I decided to take a spin through my Steam library and see on whose recommendation I purchased this gigantic backlog of games, most of which I will never get around to playing in my lifetime. This post is just to show where the games came from. In my next post, I will add the number of hours I played each game, and we will discover the identity of my true game recommendation hero. Without further ado... SimCity 4 STAR WARS Empire at War Tropico 3 Humble Bundle ride-alongs (played none of these other than Eufloria): Audiosurf Bastion Beat Hazard BIT.TRIP BEAT Darwinia Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time Eufloria Jests'n'Guns No Time to Explain The Polynomial Rhythm Zone Swords and Soldiers World of Goo Bundled with something else: Counter-Strike: Source I had it a long time ago and rebought on Steam: Freedom Force Half Life 2 Portal 1 and 2 Serious Sam series Sid Meier's Pirates! KOTOR The Ultimate DOOM Vampire: Bloodlines I had it on iPad and rebought on Steam: Frozen Synapse I saw it in development and hoped it would be good but it sucked: Endless Space Endless Space sucked and I wanted something similar but better: Galactic Civilizations 2 Because I love Heat Signature: Morphblade Gunpoint Because I loved XCOM: Enemy Unknown XCOM 2 No idea why I bought these(!?): Age of Wonders III Costume Quest Dogfighter Iron Grip: Warlord Multiwinia Plain Sight Stacking Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery Uplink -----Caltrops Posters' Recommendations----- FABIO: Amnesia: The Dark Descent Alan Wake Painkiller (3 of these) Cables :( : Brutal Legend Evil Genius pinback: Banished Cities: Skylines Duskers Five Nights At Freddy's Spelunky Jerry Whorebach(???): Batman: Arkham Asylum Batman: Arkham City (came with above) ICJ: Cuphead Shadowrun Returns Mischief Maker: Darkest Dungeon Flotilla Ghost Master Heat Signature Invisible Inc Ring Runner Gutsby: Door Kickers Shadow of Mordor Rafiki: Rayman Origins Entropy Stew: Rocket League The person that wrote Inzo: Inzo The Whole Caltrops Team: Dragon Age: Origins Psychonauts The Witcher 1 and 2 XCOM: Enemy Unknown ------Real People's Recommendations------ Coworkers recommended: Borderlands Borderlands 2 Dark Souls Dead Space DEFCON Skyrim Euro Truck Simulator 2 Hotline Miami Hotline Miami 2 Machinarium Overlord 1 and 2 PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS Prison Architect Saints Row: The Third Civilization 4 Terraria Torchlight 1 & 2 VVVVVV Purchased because coworkers were looking for a cool lunch game: Airmech Awesomenauts Broforce Left 4 Dead Left 4 Dead 2 Cannon Brawl Gauntlet Speedrunners My son wanted it but then it doesn't EVEN work: Scrap Mechanic ...so it doesn't look that close right now but I can tell you that it's still anybody's game because I've never even launched the majority of these games.
