I just finished the main campaign. The DLC add several new skill cards that were badly needed (especially a magic damage one for caster builds) while leaving out the guitar weapons from the DLC so as not to ruin the base game's gothic horror setting. Great!
Now I'm starting the Motorhead campaign and... ugh. I like Motorhead but I don't like it that much. And whatever you may think of Jack Black, he's a zillion times better at delivering comedy lines than Lloyd Kaufman. Is Kaufman even a draw? Be honest, if you aren't already a bad movie afficianado, do you even recognize that name?
Oh, and the new talisman items from the Fractured Worlds DLC give you flaming pink wings that cause the game to bug out when you use the special card that creates temporary clones when you use the rapier's dash ability.
I love the base game but I wouldn't recommend these DLC even at half price. |
