You know that Charles Darwin is highly problematic, there's not much equality of outcome in his models.

A lot of you guys are computer programmers. I'm not, and I know I'm not.

So I know well enough that when you guys talk about different programming languages not to butt in with, "My dudes! Quick programming tip, don't put the line GOTO 10 at the end of your program, or the 'puter gets stuck in a loop, and then the only thing you can do is unplug it from the wall. Oh, hey! No need to pay me a consulting fee for my 1337 knowledge drop, that one was on the house!"

But when I point out that Jordan Peterson's legal interpretation of C-16 was hilariously wrong, or he says something dead-wrong about genetics, here you strut up to me with all the confidence in the world saying things like, "You know, Darwin said something about, like, 'survival of the fittest,' and that doesn't sound very sound very politically correct to me, bro!"

You keep insisting you've proved that, because you spend a lot of time talking to yourself on Peterson. I don't know how imperfect the guy would be before it would be an issue for me but the occasional dumb tweet is fine, maybe he'll delete it once he looks at it more closely. (I give him a pass on the snake/DNA thing because it's a hypothesis from a notable book.)

Here's the case against C-16: there are not clear, universal social conventions around how to use pronouns with... let's say "gender cheaters" to make me feel good. I'm not calling an individual "they" and I'm not pretending some bogus term they've given me is a pronoun. In an eagerness to demonstrate their evolution, Canada chose to put pronoun misuse on the same level as saying "nigger", with the same enforcement measures.

It was quickly used to threaten a young university student to prevent her from showing Jordan Peterson clips. "Oh, they didn't understand the law!" Oh ok, the law is fine then, it just was misused in this one instance. It's not like it's a misguided law that is prone to this kind of abuse, where you merely have to become world-famous to keep from being threatened for non-compliance.

He was right to say it's a bad law and a manifestation of what he calls "postmodern neomarxism," the view that society is just power structures to taste. Let the issue be worked out in the social sphere first before you start sanctioning people over rules that are not clear.
