I lurked around the Diablo subreddit a bitby Roop 11/04/2018, 3:14pm PST
I don't read https://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/ regularly, haven't bothered with a Blizzard game in years actually.
Anyway, yeah, they've outsourced the assets to this Chinese developer who already have a crappy arpg out. I say it's crappy because somebody posted quotes from some Chinese boards, they have nicknames for this developer over there they're so bad.
Whoever's handling the social media is as clueless as whoever decided to have a crappy mobile game as the climactic reveal. Bethesda, Todd Howard at least knew what he was doing how he did it: Revealed the next new Fallout was coming, and until then, kids, here play this little mobile game right now, we just put it up! Everybody was excited and cheered. Blizzard? Jesus Christ, what a shitshow with another guy in a freaking red shirt! asking a great question, every year it's gotta be a guy in a red shirt.
Anyway, the social media people at Blizzard need to be fired. Someone pointed out the jabroni with this tweet early on works or worked for a PR agency contracting with tech companies, nice to keep that in mind, kind of explains everything:
Whoever's handling Youtube seems to have paniced. They eventually uploaded 3 versions of the same video. The like to dislike ratio was staggering, everytime. Somehow, someway, a couple hundred thousand dislikes started vanishing somehow someway here and fucking there, making these fans go crazy. People wanting stickied threads to make sure everybody checks they disliked all three videos once again, double the fucking check everybody, because dislikes are mysteriously vanishing from some people's Youtube accounts! Everybody's all fired up, and the guy with the most liked comment, that incel motherfucker, his comment keeps getting deleted, so he doesn't care, he has it saved to the clipboard motherfuckers, fuck you! he keeps reposting it over and over! At least nine times gets a lot of likes and keeps getting deleted. Then finally the social media moron at Blizzard just sets up a script to delete the text automatically so they don't have to do it anymore. The community comes together in outrage! Everyone starts spamming the guys post with random [33t speak! and the comments become unreadable! This, over and over, copy it to your clipboards everybody:

"No King Rules Forever My Son" For 20+ years I have played Blizzard games, I will never forget entering Sanctuary for the first time. You have changed... goodbye friends.
O fucking the drama of it!
Best comment I saw? Who knows what to believe some random guy, but he heard an actual stock investor say before this whole thing even went down: If Blizzard announces a mobile game? Buy. They don't? Sell.
