People have the right to say anything on any subject as long as it is not libelous, does not incite violence, does not attempt to stop others from speaking, and does not threaten national security (this means exposing troop movements, revealing nuclear codes or other information that could allow third-party release of weapons, etc.)
Anti-semitic comments, whether Anti-Jew or Anti-Muslim, do not fall into the classes of speech that it is reasonable to restrict. Most religions are well-deserving of ridicule, parody and satire. Sadly, while this is quite common for media poking fun at or criticizing western religions (Dogma, Life of Brian, etc.) it has been conspicuously missing for the Islamic religion, usually because of criminal threats of violence and retaliation. |
