As much as I like Aztez and Ruiner, they're both good games kept short of great by systems that just don't quite mesh together (grabs in Aztez/Ghost Hack in Ruiner)
But Fight 'n Rage is just a fantastic mix of every great 90s brawler mechanic into a big crazy colorful stew, and it all WORKS.
The only real complaint I would have about the game is the opening tutorial leaves a lot out, and to learn the advanced moves you need to spend about 2 runs worth of coins to unlock training mode. (Note that unlocks are all optional, the main game itself suffers from no unlock cancer). |
