| A couple months ago I put in an order for a joystick at BX Foundry. The joysticks that he is making really look great. My friend Flack bought one and had success, so I figured why not? There are occasional sales so I jumped on one.
What I got is a really attractive joystick, in my case inspired by the NES controller: 
It has worked flawlessly out of the box, for all the shit we've given Windows 10 on Caltrops, it had no problem detecting it (which I guess I should expect by now, but that's how badly we've been beaten down by our operating systems her) and I was playing Metal Slug in no time with it. It looks great, and Benj is making and selling them in all manner of styles, which you can see on his site. You can also choose if you want them to work with the original console or just be USB.
