| This game is harder than DMC3. Harder than God Hand. Hell, it even gives R-type a run for its money. You win, game. Consider me defeated.
The worst part is how it starts out so easy. The beginning enemies take 2 seconds to wind up and hit you. The bullet bosses shoot bullets that are so slow the big slow Ivan Drago can outrun them. You'll probably S rank the second level on your first try. The problem is that the difficulty increases exponentially. But not only is the game hard, it's humiliating. You'll find yourself boxed in by bullet patterns and mortar strikes and seeker missiles and burn your gun and your shield so low that one of those pathetic 2-second warmup enemies manages to corner you and knock down your battered defenses. I think I got to level 16 out of 19 but I've hit a brick wall. The game is throwing groups of enemies at me, incliuding a super-shielded enemy who attacks with a flurry of strikes and only gives you time for a counter of your weakest and strongest attack before becoming completely invincible again. Fuck it. I give up. I even beat the final arena boss in God Hand but this game wore me out. |
