Re: Skate (360) or die by bombMexico 12/24/2007, 3:43am PST I've had my eye on the 360 Proving Ground game quickly working its way towards clearance. I'd just as soon pick this up over skate, what with the ease of immediately having fun pulling tricks and not needing to put in hours of work to learn the mechanics. I sort of thought this was the whole point of the Fussbett/Whoreboch jihad against boring shit sim racers and the Burnout's and Outrun's of the world. My only guess is that if it's just a sandbox game you can screw around forever as opposed to losing races for not fine tuning enough, but this seems like an easy out. Is it your rebellious skater nature forcing you to rebel against the (fun enjoying) mainstream? I'm just asking because it's taken them 20 years to finally come out with a sequel and then they leave off two of the letters, cutting my choices in half :(
